Rutland Bike Week 2025
Event One
Let’s kick off bike week with a meet & greet ride! We’ll park at Giorgetti Athletic Center and meet at the Pine Hill Park trailhead. After brief introductions and a bike pre-ride check, we’ll make our way as a group on the recreation/bike path and on the streets of downtown Rutland City. The aim of this ride is to provide a fun, social pace, with multiple stops along the way. The majority of this ride is on the bike path. Helmets required.

ALL Bodies on Bikes
Presented by DownValley Bikes and Come Alive Outside, the “All Bodies on Bikes” ride is a social group ride using Rutland’s beautiful recreation path. After a brief introduction and bike safety check, we will hit the path! Expect multiple stops for water breaks throughout and time to enjoy snacks after the ride. Helmets required. ALL ages, ALL bodies! The event is free.

How to wash your bike clinic
Meet us at Giorgetti parking lot on Oak Street for a bring-your-bike clinic on bike washing. This how-to clinic offers tricks and tips to keep your bike riding well for as long as possible using items at home (and things you may purchase) to streamline the bike washing process. “How to Wash your Bike Clinic” is a pay-what-you-can event. Suggested donation for supplies: $5.

Rutland Young Professionals Mixer
Join us at the shop for a mixer of young professionals and local cycling enthusiasts. Enjoy brews from Von Trapp Brewing (Stowe) as we chat about types of cycling, local trail networks, and popular bicycle routes in the Rutland area. This event is presented by the Rutland Young Professionals. Check them out here -> https://www.rutlandyoungprofessionals.org/

Bike Rodeo Palooza
What is a bike rodeo? A bike rodeo is a hands-on event designed to teach children about bicycle safety and basic riding skills in a fun and safe environment. Presented by the Rutland Regional Planning Commission, the bike rodeo includes activities for kiddos learning to ride in the streets, as well as a skills zone with games and challenges for older kids ready to learn more.
In addition to the bike rodeo, a vendor village with bike education and fun activities (like a bouncy house and fairy hair) are part of the fun.
A bike auction of donated bikes, with all proceeds going back into Rutland Bike Week 2026, closes out the rodeo.
